In three stages you bring your Aiways U5 into the community solution: first provision it at the head unit, then set it up in the app and finally connect the LTE-Bridge. Just click through it step by step.

Download the provisioning app
Download the provisioning APK and copy it onto an empty USB stick (formatted as FAT32).
Tip: plug the stick into the USB port in the car that allows data access (in the front).
Unlock developer options
On the vehicle display: open Settings and tap 5× on "About".
Enable file access
In the opened menu, the "AP Version" toggle now appears. Tap it 5× as well.
Open the file manager
Open the "ES Browser" (file manager) that is now available.
Install & run the app
Plug in the USB stick, in ES Browser select the USB stick, then select the APK,
Install and then Run.
Show & scan the QR code
Select the Wi-Fi and enter the SSID/password, then scan the displayed QR code with our AiwaysApp. From there you continue right in the app.
Connect to the vehicle Wi-Fi
The app now writes the digital key into the vehicle. To do so, connect your smartphone to your car's Wi-Fi — the app shows you the name and password — and tap "Open Wi-Fi settings".
Select the vehicle Wi-Fi
In the Wi-Fi settings, select the vehicle Wi-Fi . As soon as
"Connected to device" appears, tap "Done" and return to the app.
Testing the connection
The key has been transferred — disconnect from the Wi-Fi again. The app now automatically checks the Bluetooth connection to the vehicle.
Load the first vehicle data
Almost done: the app uploads the first vehicle data so that your overview is populated right away.
Done — vehicle is ready
Your vehicle is set up and now appears in the app. Tap "Done" — the app part is complete.
Flash the firmware
Open the web flasher in your browser (Chrome or Edge), connect the LTE-Bridge via USB to your computer and flash our firmware.
The bridge can now be provisioned. Insert the battery, disconnect it from USB and place it in the car. Reconnect it there via USB — in case the battery does not provide enough power.
Set up in the app
Open the AiwaysApp and tap
More › Profile › Vehicles › Set up LTE-Bridge.
The rest is guided within the app.
